A true account of one family who survived two world wars, a world depression and tragic loss of life. They lived, loved and learned to survive against all odds to overcome every effort to deprive them and their beloved Poland of national pride, heritage, language and culture. It is a little known fact that 6 million Poles lost their lives, 3 million were Jews and 3 million were non-Jews. In a time of treachery on every hand, this family along with many other Polish families held on to their Christian values to survive the merciless onslaught or tyranny, wickedness and evil. Antoni and Antonina built their home, Marzenie (meaning ‘my dream’), because they dared to hope, dream, plan and build a home when despair, despondency and hopelessness reigned supreme. They raised their 3 children with sound moral values and true Christian faith under the auspices of a godless Communist government. The fact that Antoni, Antonina,their family and the Polish nation not only survived but was resurrected, is evidence and proof positive that Love Grows in the Crucible.
