The Lord God, the Morning, Eve and Me

My dear Eve,

It’s now twenty-three hundred hours and we’re in bed, but in my prayers, I lift my voice in thanks for the manifold blessings of God, and I ask for the needs of the coming day with a special mention for angels to watch over my Ewa and myself through the night. As we slip into sleep, she rests peacefully beside me curled on her side. The oneness of lying in bed with the woman I love is joy unspeakable. Words are insufficient to describe the perfection of peace and affection of reaching out and pulling her closer to me as she nestles peacefully in my sleepy embrace. I need her and she needs me. All things are better with her and God knew they would be when He brought her to me. I know that she is Gods’ property but He has trusted me to care for her and protect her. This delicate, tender, dedicated and pure creature who inspires me with praise, observation, wisdom, queries and when essential constructive criticism, knows her man and refuses to allow his failure. Oh Lord my God, what have you wrought? To take a rib from man and form an exquisite gem as a helpmate for him, who would have imagined it? The Most High God and our Lord Jesus Christ, you are worthy of praise! We love you! Teach us to love you as you have loved us! Then we will be forever joyful and filled with praise and thanksgiving! Care for us through the night and quicken us again in the new day, when it will again be The Lord God, the morning, Ewa and me.

Good night my dearest wife, friend and love, Kochany
