You Shall Know the Truth

My Kochana,
This morning in our (the Lord and I) study of Gods’ Holy Word, the Holy Spirit opened additional understanding of the meaning for ‘to know’ in the context of Jesus’ statement, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” To know in scriptural context is more than being informed and aware of the immutable, irreversible and non-refutable meaning of a principle, concept or eternal truth of the Most High God. To know is ‘to be’ that principle, concept and truth. It is dying to the error which is displaced when our spiritual walk and talk align perfectly with the mind of God Most High. Evil is always displaced by righteousness. God drove Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden to symbolize the fact that good and evil is an ‘either or’ decision. Carnal man has attempted to blend two agents that cannot be mixed, i.e. sodium and water, without violent consequences resulting in death. Shakespeare accurately stated, ‘To be or not to be, that is the question’. Ungodly men know about the words, principles and concepts of the Scriptures, but in willfully rejecting them in their thoughts and actions, they do not know the freedom, peace and power of the mind of God. We can only know God by knowing His Word (accepting Christ as Savior) and turning toward the spiritual and mental light (understanding) which displaces the darkness (separation from God) of man born of woman. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are born of the spirit, i.e. a second birth. Our Lord Jesus had a Heavenly Father and an earthly mother. He was a God man, but he was a man like us in that he was tempted in all ways like us. As a man, he overcame the power of sin and lived a sinless life, that pleased his Father God. ‘This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.’ Death could not hold Jesus, for he had no sin and was not under the curse of sin. “In the day you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (sin), you shall surely die.” All men, except Jesus, have sinned and cannot stand before God but Jesus, having no sin was worthy to stand with, before and beside God his Father. He is seated at the right hand of glory, (beside God) and intercedes on our behalf when the enemy accuses, tempts and oppresses the children of God. Concerning those of us who walk according to his calling, the Word of God says, ‘they shall be taught of God.’ He also said, “I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” The more we learn of him, the more we know him, the more we know him, the more we understand him, the more we understand him, the more we become like Jesus, the Son of God. Knowing the truth means embracing, accepting and clinging to Holy precepts, commands and instruction of God, the Father, for we shall know the truth.  To know Gods’ Word is to do it. To do is to be. To be is Life. This is a decision, not a choice. It is ‘to be’ (Eternal Life) or ‘not to be’ (Death – absence of life). May we always know the truth and be set free from death and quickened in eternal Life.

We gain all things worth being, in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Kochany
